2022 Florida Primary Election Story (Senate)

A head to head comparison of the 2022 Florida Primary gives us an idea of the break down of the voters.

Val Demings received 84.29% (1.26M votes) beating both Brian Rush who had 6.28% (94.19k votes) and William Sanchez who had 5.64% (84568 votes) in the overall count of votes in Florida if the election were among these 3 candidates.

Val Demings wins 65 counties out of the counties in the state of Florida to support his claims of his movement in the country. Brian Rush won 2 counties and Joe Biden won just 2 counties in the state of Florida.

These 10 counties play an important role in these primary elections. If a candidate, can get a sizable majority, it becomes very difficult to win majorities in the smaller counties with out voter out reach and increased voter participation in them.

In a head to head match up on just the total number of votes, Brian Rush (52.7%) beats William Sanchez (47.3%). Val Demings (93.7%) beats William Sanchez (6.3%) and Val Demings (93.1%) beats Brian Rush (6.9%).

Val Demings simply won the majority of the top 10 counties. Brian Rush and William Sanchez could not achieve a victory since Val Demings captures so many voters across most counties.
