2022 Wyoming Governor Primary Election Story

A head to head comparison of the 2022 Wyoming Primary gives us an idea of the break down of the voters.

Mark Gordon received 59.21% (101.09k votes) beating both Brent Bien who had 28.43% (48.55k votes) and Rex Rammell who had 5.49% (9373 votes) in the overall count of votes in Wyoming if the election were among these 3 candidates.

Mark Gordon wins 19 counties out of the counties in the state of Wyoming to support his claims of his movement in the country. Brent Bien won 4 counties and Joe Biden won just 2 counties in the state of Wyoming.

These 10 counties play an important role in these primary elections. If a candidate, can get a sizable majority, it becomes very difficult to win majorities in the smaller counties with out voter out reach and increased voter participation in them.

In a head to head match up on just the total number of votes, Brent Bien (83.8%) beats Rex Rammell (16.2%). Mark Gordon (91.5%) beats Rex Rammell (8.5%) and Mark Gordon (67.6%) beats Brent Bien (32.4%).

Mark Gordon simply won the majority of the top 10 counties. Brent Bien and Rex Rammell could not achieve a victory since Mark Gordon captures so many voters across most counties.
