2022 Nevada Primary Election Story (Governor)

A head to head comparison of the 2022 Nevada Primary gives us an idea of the break down of the voters.

Steve Sisolak received 39.61% (155.7k votes) beating both Joe Lombardo who had 21.92% (86.15k votes) and Joey Gilbert who had 15.45% (60717 votes) in the overall count of votes in Nevada if the election were among these 3 candidates.

Joey Gilbert wins 9 counties out of the counties in the state of Nevada to support his claims of his movement in the country. Steve Sisolak won 4 counties and Joe Biden won just 2 counties in the state of Nevada.

These 10 counties play an important role in these primary elections. If a candidate, can get a sizable majority, it becomes very difficult to win majorities in the smaller counties with out voter out reach and increased voter participation in them.

In a head to head match up on just the total number of votes, Joe Lombardo (58.7%) beats Joey Gilbert (41.3%). Steve Sisolak (71.9%) beats Joey Gilbert (28.1%) and Steve Sisolak (64.4%) beats Joe Lombardo (35.6%).

Steve Sisolak simply won the majority of the top 10 counties. Joe Lombardo and Joey Gilbert could not achieve a victory since Steve Sisolak captures so many voters across most counties.
