2022 Georgia Primary Election Story (Governor)

Brian Kemp received 45.97% (888.05k votes) beating both Stacey Abrams who had 37.64% (727.17k votes) and David Perdue who had 13.58% (262377 votes) in the overall count of votes in Georgia if the election were among these 3 candidates.

Brian Kemp wins 130 counties out of the counties in the state of Georgia to support his claims of his movement in the country. Stacey Abrams won 29 counties and Joe Biden won just 2 counties in the state of Georgia.

These 10 counties play an important role in these primary elections. If a candidate, can get a sizable majority, it becomes very difficult to win majorities in the smaller counties with out voter out reach and increased voter participation in them.

In a head to head match up on just the total number of votes, Stacey Abrams (73.5%) beats David Perdue (26.5%). Brian Kemp (77.2%) beats David Perdue (22.8%) and Brian Kemp (55.0%) beats Stacey Abrams (45.0%).

Brian Kemp simply won the majority of the top 10 counties. Stacey Abrams and David Perdue could not achieve a victory since Brian Kemp captures so many voters across most counties.
