2022 Florida Primary Election Story (Governor)

A head to head comparison of the 2022 Florida Primary gives us an idea of the break down of the voters.

Charlie Crist received 59.71% (904.54k votes) beating both Nikki Fried who had 35.34% (535.46k votes) and Cadance Daniel who had 2.52% (38199 votes) in the overall count of votes in Florida if the election were among these 3 candidates.

Charlie Crist wins 64 counties out of the counties in the state of Florida to support his claims of his movement in the country. Nikki Fried won 3 counties and Joe Biden won just 2 counties in the state of Florida.

These 10 counties play an important role in these primary elections. If a candidate, can get a sizable majority, it becomes very difficult to win majorities in the smaller counties with out voter out reach and increased voter participation in them.

In a head to head match up on just the total number of votes, Nikki Fried (93.3%) beats Cadance Daniel (6.7%). Charlie Crist (95.9%) beats Cadance Daniel (4.1%) and Charlie Crist (62.8%) beats Nikki Fried (37.2%).

Charlie Crist simply won the majority of the top 10 counties. Nikki Fried and Cadance Daniel could not achieve a victory since Charlie Crist captures so many voters across most counties.
